This looks like a great double-bill, happening this Friday, July 16 at Middle East upstairs. I first heard Ha Ha Tonka from their live sessions on the most excellent HearYa blog. I later saw them play at the most excellent Bloodshot BBQ at Middle East last summer. They are most excellent. You should go see them!

The boys can bring the rock, but be prepared if they gather around the mike and sing "acapella-ly". Their version of "Hangman" in Live Session #8 is amazing and even more so live. If you're on the Cape this weekend, you can catch them at The Beachcomber in Wellfleet.
